Pastor Gordon John Manché said that the Malta Gay Rights Movement exaggerated in their reaction to the news that three men were converted to a life of freedom from a homosexual lifestyle.
Speaking during the Radio programme Għandi X'ngħid, Mr Manché said that during the protest he was treated unfairly and the reaction was out of proportion. "We did not attack anybody," he explained.
Mr Manché revealed that he knew of another four men in the community who had been converted by God and they are now married after having been gay.
He never said that being gay meant one was sick, he said.
