At the University Chaplaincy on October 20 at 8 p.m. there will be the first in this academic year's series of 'DVD Nights' during which the film Prayers for Bobby will be shown. The film is based on the true story of Bobby Griffin, who killed himself at the age of 20 due to the religious intolerance of his family when they found out he was gay.
After the suicide, the film follows the journey of his mother Mary as she follows a path of discovery of homosexuality from the perspective of a loving God.
