Malta Star: LGBT seminar for parents at Millennium Chapel

On Friday 16 March, at the Millennium Chapel together with the Drachma Parents’ Group is organising a seminar for the parents of lesbian, gay, bisexual or transgender persons (LGBT). During this seminar a group of parents of gay, lesbian, bisexual or transgender persons will be sharing their experience of dealing with their children’s sexual identity.

The organisers say that the aim is to provide a supportive environment for parents in a similar situation and to help them understand their children better. The speakers will be Ms. Stephanie Micallef (Psychotherapist, Millennium Chapel), Representatives of the Drachma Parents’ Group, Mr. Michael Conti (Counsellor) and Rev. Dr. Paul Galea (Psychologist).

This seminar is open to the general public and is free of charge. Tea/coffee will be provided after the seminar. For further information, please call 21354464 (Millennium Chapel).
